Lea Schüller balanced now: DFB

Without 14 injured or sick players, for this with a few new faces, the DFB women started in the opening game of the Arnold Clark Cup against Spain. The fact that the eleven of Martina Voss-Tecklenburg traveled replacement to the tournament on the island was not recognizable first, because against world footballer Putellas & Co. Germany kept well.
The Spaniards had the better playing system, but in front of the gate it was first balanced. Brand (4th) and Schüller (35.) Ingoing one of the best chances for the DFB selection, on the other hand, failed the substitute Garcia with a beautiful Schlenzer just scarce (34.).
Oberdorf lays up for Putellas
Shortly after restart, Oberdorf made a momentous mistake, a wide ball cleared her in the penalty area with the tibia exactly to Putellas, which defeated from a short distance Frohms – 0: 1 (46.). With the lead in the back, the Spaniards were much more dominant, the DFB women barely came from their own half. Bonmati almost made for the 2-0, but shot from eleven meters but over it (58.).
Long was nothing to see from Germany, after 72 minutes, however, Magull would have had to get compensation: After a crosspass of Schüller, the Munich fails from six meters to panos. Shortly thereafter, Frohms was also allowed to distinguish itself, a strong shot of Garcia directed the keeper to the lath (77th).
Schüller rewards the DFB women
With some fresh forces, the German women in the final phase tried again, to come forward – and were rewarded for this: a thunderstorms bounced on the left in the penalty area at Schüller, which was completely free and ice cold bottomed down (88.). It remained at the 1: 1, as Spain did not come to the German goal in the last few minutes.
