FC Schalke 04 runs with “peace
FC Schalke 04 has taken care of many headlines in the current week after disconnecting himself from his longtime main sponsor Gazprom. On Saturday, the Bundesliga relegation now wants to present his new premium partner and sponsor for the first time.
Until Friday evening, FC Schalke had still officially reported cooperation with the North Rhine-Westphalian housing company Vivawest. The cooperation seems to be long ago in dry towels.
The traditional club from Gelsenkirchen had last announced the partnership with the Russian Energy Giant Gazprom after the Russian Federation had launched Vladimir Putin under ruler Vladimir Putin in Ukraine.
On the last second division matchday at Karlsruher SC (1: 1), the logo of the Russian Grand Group was no longer on the S04 jersey to see, instead, the team of Chef Trainer Dimitrios Grammozis ran on the simple lettering “Schalke 04” on the chest.
As the “picture” announces on Friday, there will also be a special jet of royal blue for the upcoming home game on Saturday against Hansa Rostock (from 13:30 clock).

For the first time with the new main sponsor Vivawest on the chest, a “peace jersey” was designed as another signal of solidarity to people in Ukraine. An image of this published the newspaper with reference to the FC Schalke also in the evening. A little later, it already circulated through social media.
Under the logo of the new cooperation partner, the slogan should be “together for peace” including the silhouette of a peace donkey. The first two letters are clearly important with the reference to the Gelsenkirchener abbreviation “Ge”. Officially introduced, the special jersey should only be presented on the day of the home game against Hansa Rostock.
