Elden Ring: Moment! Malenia does not have a guard? That could be behind

It started as a meme, but it quickly became a reality of it: a question that concerns Elden Ring character Malenia prepared fans sleepless nights. A Redditor posted a cartoon where a person first tired, but suddenly light awake after she has heard the following question: “Where is Malenia’s shadow?” But this is not the shadow that your character model throws, but a person who fulfills a guardian function. The topic obviously met a nerve. In the comments, we were discussed.

SPOILER WARNING: This article contains spoilers for background history and characters made of elden ring.

It has it with the “shadows”

It’s about it: To understand what it has to do with the question, we must first make a little detour into the background story to Elden Ring: In the Zwischenland there is so-called heavenly (in English: Empyrans), which of The two fingers are selected to be raised in the gods.

These are the shadows: Each of these candidates, or each candidate, receives a so-called shadow. These are loyal subordinates that serve the chosen protect and serve them. However, they are still faithful to the golden order – and thus the external God named the higher will – yield.

Therefore, the shadows also monitor that the heavenly in the sense of the higher will act. Further heavenly and their shadows are Marika and Maliketh as well as Ranni and Blaidd. Also Malenia’s brother Miquella is a heavenly, in contrast to many other semi-gods.

This please does not remain denied. It is discussed excited. The top comment comes from Jobro_Summer-of-99 and raises the following theory:

I have an idea:

If Miquellas Haligbaum is away from the golden order, then it would not make sense that Malenia has killed her shadows [next to her’s that of her brother Miquella meant] to continue solving her from the higher will?

Apart from that, Malenia actually became the shadow of her brother, as she looked at him as a worthy God.

That Malenia is loyal to her brother, most of you should be known. Anyone who has adopted the fight against the boss opponent has been heard in most cases often, that she is “the blade of Miquella”. In the description text to your wing helmet, it will also be quoted as follows:

My brother will hold his word. Because he has the wisdom and attraction of a God. He is truly the most powerful among the heavenly.

Another interesting fan theories suggests that Malenia’s shades may have become a victim of the scarlet appearance, from which the boss opponent is infested. In the comments, the relationship of other heavenly to their shadows is also discussed. We may be curious if future DLCs will bring light into the matter.

Are you asked: What do you think, why we do not meet Malenia’s shadows in the game?
