Football second division 1. FC Nürnberg prematurely extended the contract with coach Robert Klauß.
As usual, the Franconian old master made no information about the new term.
The 37-year-old has been with the club since 2020 and, according to prematurely extendeds director Dieter Hecking, will remain beyond the coming season.
“Robert has a significant part in the continuous development of the team,” said Hecking.
He feels “extremely comfortable at the club. The early contract extension is a sign of appreciation in both directions,” emphasized Klauss.
Nuremberg only has theoretical opportunities in the narrow promotion race of the 2nd division.
The nine -time German champion has six points behind the relegation place.
