Square Enix wants to develop story -oriented NFT: Eastern
Square Enix has told about the company’s future plans that include creating story-oriented NFTs.
According to the Square Enix’s 2022 shareholders’ meeting report, the company intends to continue to include blockchain technology for its game development.
Its medium-term goals are essentially about developing blockchain games and related entertainment products.
However, chairman Yosuke Matsuda states it is still too early to consider making dragon Quest -and Final Fantasy Groups.
The Swedish Embracer Group recently acquired Crystal Dynamics, Eidos Montreal and Square Enix Montreal, as well as several IPs, such as tomb Raider and deus ex, Square Enix for $ 300 million.
When the acquisition was announced, Square Enix said that the trade would allow new businesses to be launched, including investments in block chains, artificial intelligence and cloud services.
