The Last of Us Series Premiere Window Revealed!

Originally, the series of The Last of Us for HBO was scheduled to premiere in late 2022. However, it was revealed some time ago that the show had been delayed until some point in 2023. Although at the moment it is still without a specific date, it seems that the wait will not be as long as it was believed, since The Last of Us will be released early next year.
Through an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Casey Bloys, head of HBO, was asked about the present and future of this channel’s series, taking the recent Emmy nominations as a starting point. In this way, the media questioned the manager about The Last of Us. This was what Bloys commented:
It is closer to the beginning of 2023.
Although no further information was given in this regard, early 2023, could well mean the first quarter of the year. Let us remember that day after day a photograph or video is filtered that gives us a glimpse of this production. Along with this, it is not ruled out that a trailer for the show will be available at the end of 2022, perhaps during The Game Awards.
Regarding the Emmys, HBO has a total of 140 nominations among 24 different programs, with Succession (25) at the head of this group, followed by The White Lotus (20), Hacks (17), Euphoria ( 16) and Barry (14). On related topics, a leak shows us the chemistry between the actors of The Last of Us . In the same way, Pedro Pascal shares his concerns about the series.
Editor’s Note:
From all the leaks, The Last of Us series looks like a good adaptation of Naughty Dog’s work. Sure, there’s always the risk that the result won’t be as good as expected, especially on this job, but at the moment there’s no reason to believe the production will be bad.
